Nido Forest is looking for assistant teachers to help lead our child + adult classes in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
At Nido, teachers create an environment that welcomes each child and family as they are. They guide the group gently through the routines of the class and model slowing down and taking a child's perspective. We believe in the importance of child-directed play as the best vehicle for learning. Our teachers invite and facilitate play based on their observations of the children.

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of working with young children / toddlers
- Fluent in Spanish
- Coursework in Early Childhood Education a plus
- Interest in progressive education & child development
- Comfortable speaking and singing with children and adults
- Enjoy getting messy and being outdoors in all weather
